The renovation and upfitting of Sadler Square is taking meaningful shape on Griffith Street. New businesses have moved in and others now have signs above the shops that are in the works. The center is gaining life again. Because Sadler Square is prominently located at the entrance to Davidson, it has always been important to the life of the town.

Jonathan Stewart, a partner in Piedmont Capital Management, has placed new tenants in the center, ranging from a dental office, to an ice cream shop, and several restaurants. Stewart said, "It has been great to have the initial tenants open at Sadler Square - Rise Modern Dentistry, Ella Blu Boutique, Catawba River Outfitters, and Renoja Wellness."

Coming soon will be Harriet's Hamburgers, Seemingly Overzealous Ice Cream, and Ilios Crafted Greek. Stewart predicts that those three will "open in the early summer - June." The final opening dates will then be up to the individual businesses as they fully prepare and individualize the spaces.

Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen and Copain Bakery & Provisions are each currently under construction.

Stewart said, "Novant Health Lakeside Primary Care will be starting construction shortly. We expect these final three tenants to open Fall of 2026."
