Learning to avoid scams is essential to protect your personal finances, safeguard your identity, and maintain mental well-being against increasingly sophisticated criminals. Understanding the red flags—such as artificial urgency, requests for unusual payment methods (gift cards, crypto), and impersonation of officials—prevents substantial monetary loss and potential, long-lasting identity theft.

The Town of Davidson, The Pines at Davidson, and DavidsonLearns are excited to present this informative session featuring featuring Special Agent Jenna Emery of the U.S. Secret Service. This presentation will focus on how to protect yourself from fraud and scams, explaining the latest tactics used by scammers, real world examples, and practical steps to stay safe.
