The Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center (DCCDC) is excited to announce that enrollment is now open for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old.

For more than 55 years, DCCDC has been committed to providing high-quality, affordable early childhood education to families in the Davidson, Cornelius, and surrounding Lake Norman communities. As a nonprofit, five-star licensed child development center, DCCDC believes every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our classrooms provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences through Creative Curriculum, hands-on exploration, social-emotional learning, and individualized instruction designed to meet each child's unique needs. Our dedicated teachers focus on building strong relationships with children while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Families at DCCDC benefit from:

• High-quality care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K
• Experienced and caring teachers committed to each child's success
• Creative Curriculum and individualized learning experiences
• Daily communication with families about their child's growth and development
• Safe, nurturing classrooms that encourage exploration and discovery
• Affordable tuition with scholarship opportunities available for qualifying families

"We know that choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions a family can make," said Executive Director Akeeba Rivens. "At DCCDC, we strive to create a welcoming environment where every child is known, valued, and supported. Our goal is to partner with families to help children build a strong educational foundation that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond."

As the new school year begins, DCCDC welcomes families to schedule a tour, meet our teachers, and experience the difference a high-quality early childhood education program can make.

Enrollment is limited, and available spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information about enrollment, tuition, scholarships, or to schedule a tour, please contact Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center at 704-821-2228 or email akeeba@dc-childcare.org.

DCCDC looks forward to welcoming new families and continuing its mission of providing exceptional early childhood education while strengthening children, families, and the Davidson-Cornelius community for generations to come.
