NEWS

Unity in Community has an opportunity to participate in an important learning experience.

Due to the meaningful conversations, new relationships, and lasting impact of our first cohort, "What Lies Between Us: First Steps to Racial Healing" is returning this fall.

Beginning September 15, participants will meet every other week at Davidson United Methodist Church for guided conversations and personal reflection. Together, we'll explore the history of race in America, examine the biases we all carry, and gain the framework, language, and encouragement to help build communities where everyone feels they belong.

Whether this is your first conversation about race or you've been engaged in this work for years, you'll find a welcoming space to listen, learn, ask questions, and grow alongside others.

The cost is $97 per participant, which includes workshop materials. A sliding scale is also available because we never want cost to be a barrier to participation.

If you're ready to deepen your understanding, build authentic relationships, and be part of creating a more connected and inclusive community, we hope you'll join us this fall.

• Starts: Tuesday, September 15
• Time: 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
