Traditional Series: Dom Flemons

A Phoenix native and founding member of the Grammy-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons has become one of America’s most imaginative explorers of our musical past. The “American Songster” has ranged from the overlooked history of Black cowboys and the American West to original songwriting, bringing forgotten stories and traditions vividly into the present.
The performance will be September 5 from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in Tyler-Tallman Recital Hall located in the Sloan Music Center
