Deep is the pain
and solitary feels
the words,
“to suffer”

Alone is the walk
whose journey
seems to have
no destination

Many are the causes
of the betrayal
of happiness
and the sadness
has no company

But the aloneness
is felt by
One who seems
distant but
who is close
…because
of the suffering

The heavens are
not a place, for
within the stars
that shine in
the darkness
there is a
“someone”

In the suffering it
feels not so…
but once on
a forsaken hill
the heavens
fell…
The heart’s pain
was taken in
and there was created
a divine bond

The tears of God
are real
and they are for you
when life makes
no sense

A hurting soul is
precious to the One
who created it
Never are you
forgotten
though it feels so

Over the horizon is
One who waits
but for now
Love wants to hold
you
until all is done

You never suffer
alone…
