DAVIDSON, N.C. — High Point defeated the Davidson men’s soccer team 1-0 on Tuesday night at Alumni Stadium, snapping the Wildcats’ 11-game home unbeaten streak.

The loss was Davidson’s first of the 2026 season, dropping the team’s record to 1-1-4. It marks the Wildcats’ first defeat on their home pitch since Aug. 29, 2025, when Gardner-Webb won 2-1.

High Point broke the scoreless tie in the 59th minute when Prosper Adagani scored on a counterattack. Officials initially called the play offside, but overturned the decision after a review determined Noah Behrmann was onside. High Point was whistled for offside five times during the match.

Davidson pressed for an equalizer in the second half, with Pablo Linzoain and Brady McGlone creating quality chances. High Point goalkeeper Josh Caron turned away every attempt, finishing with five saves. McGlone led the Wildcats with three shots, placing two on goal.

Wildcats goalkeeper Lucas Beltran recorded four saves, and Bijan Champagne added a team save to keep Davidson within a goal.
