Run For Green is HERE!

This Saturday, September 26th is Davidson Lands’ annual race day.  All proceeds from this race benefit the important work of Davidson Lands to protect open lands, trees, trails, greenways, parks and wildlife habitat. We hope you will join us!  Here are a few very important reminders:

 1.  You can still REGISTER!  Come out and walk or run.  We have a half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk.  There’s something for everyone and we love all paces.  You can sprint or you can amble. Go to www.runforgreen.com to register. Use DLC15 for 15% off.

 2.  You can still HELP!  Runners and walkers love this event because of our beautiful town and the great crowd support. Bring a chair and a noise maker and help cheer on our participants! If you’re not sure where the race route goes, go to www.runforgreen.com and check out the course map.

 3.  Please be CAREFUL Saturday morning.  We do not close streets other than Lorimer. The races start at 7:45 a.m. and runners will be out on the course until around 11 a.m. Please keep your eyes open for our participants and drive with caution.
