South Street Wasterwater Improvements Project – May 2022 Public Meeting

Charlotte Water (CLTWater) will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, May 5 at 5:30pm to share information and answer questions about the Davidson South Street Wastewater Improvements Project.

Charlotte Water has completed the investigation & design phase for the project and expects to move into the construction phase by summer 2022. The project route will begin near the Hillside Dr. & Lorimer Rd. intersection and will end near Davidson Elementary School. In addition, the project team will replace an aging force main beginning at Concord Rd. and running north along Thompson St.

The goal of this project is to design and construct necessary enhancements to the current sewer system.

The meeting is open to the public and will start at 5:30p.m. Representatives from Charlotte Water and the Design Build team will present an overview of the project, including current work underway and next steps, and they will be available to answer any questions from attendees.
