Boy Scouts of America Troop 58 & Venture Crew 58 of Davidson are currently hosting its 2018 Troop 58 Christmas Greenery Sale fundraiser.

Each year the troop has great success selling holiday wreaths and garlands to friends, families and neighbors around Lake Norman. All proceeds support local Troop activities and help each individual scouts offset costs to attend summer camp, hiking/camping trips and other troop activities each year.

The scouts are going door to door between October 9 and October 30, selling greenery. They are working with a local tree farm in Sparta NC selling 24” and 28” Holiday Wreaths and 25’ and 75’ garlands.

All greenery orders will be delivered to your house by a Scout no later than December 1.

BSA Troop 58 has been serving the Davidson community since 1960. The Troop provides a program for young people that builds character and leadership skills. It teaches responsibilities of citizenship and collaboration and develops personal fitness. The Troop chartered by the Davidson Lion’s Club and enjoys strong support from the local community each year. Notably, Troop 58 has minted over 115+ Eagle Scouts and is developing the next generation of responsible young people with a sense of values and purpose that few other local organizations instill.
