Davidson Community Players presents the edge-of-your-seat thriller, Wait Until Dark, September 26-October 13 at the Armour Street Theatre in Davidson. The play, written by Frederick Knott and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, is directed by DCP Artistic Director, Sylvia Schnople.

This story of suspense unfolds in the basement apartment of a young blind woman, Susan, and her photographer husband, Sam.  Unbeknownst to Susan, Sam has been given a mysterious doll for safe keeping by a woman he meets on a train. The doll, which is filled with diamonds, becomes the target of conmen who will stop at nothing to gain possession of its contents. This tale of murder, intimidation, and manipulation forces Susan to use her wit and intellect to even the playing field which sets up the final climatic scene. Who will come out of the dark?

Advance tickets start at $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $12 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the website or by calling the box office at 704-892-7953.
